Telugu Filmmaker ‘Nandyala Ravi’ passes away due to COVID-19 complications

In yet another tragic incident, Telugu writer-director Nandyala Ravi passed away due to COVID-19 related complications at a city hospital on Friday. He was 42. Reportedly, he was also facing financial difficulties.

Nandyala Ravi is an Indian film Director, who has worked predominantly in Telugu movie industry. Nandyala’s previous film to hit the theatres was Lakshmi Raave Maa Intiki in the year 2014.
Telugu film industry has mourned the untimely demise of writer-director Nandyala Ravi, who breathed his last on Friday morning. He was hospitalised in Hyderabad due to complications related to the coronavirus infection.

Nandyala Ravi’s demise has left the Telugu film industry in shock. Many celebrities took to their social media handles to pay tribute to the director-writer.
The official Twitter handle of production banner Sri Sathya Sai Arts tweeted, “Very sad to know about the demise of dear #NandyalaRavi. Our deepest condolences to the family & friends. May his soul Rest In Peace!”

Screenwriter Gopi Mohan, actors Naga Shaurya and Vidyu Raman, and directors Vijay Kumar Konda and Trinadh Velisila also expressed their condolences & grief for the late director through their official Twitter handle.

Nandyala Ravi tested positive for Covid-19 a few weeks back. When the news of his diagnosis emerged online, several Telugu celebrities, including superstar Chiranjeevi, came forward to help the young filmmaker.
Others who supported him were comedian Saptagiri and producer Radha Mohan, each of whom donated 1lakh Rupees as an helping gesture.
