Sonu Sood reacts to Ajay Devgn and Sudeep’s Hindi debate ‘India has one language, which is entertainment’

Sonu Sood newly talked about the ongoing war of words between Ajay Devgn and Sudeep on Twitter over Hindi’s significance as a national language.

Sonu Sood, who has worked in both Hindi films and movies down south, told a news portal that he doesn’t think Hindi can be called just the national language. As per him, India has one language, which is entertainment. The actor also added that it doesn’t really matter which industry you belong to. If you entertain people, they will love you, honour you and accept you.

Elaborating further, Sonu told a news portal that the success of South films will change the way Hindi films will be made. He further added that gone are days when people used to say ‘leave your mind behind’. According to him, the audience won’t leave their mind behind and shell out thousands of rupees on an average film.

The debate started when Sudeep recently stated at an event that Hindi is no longer the national language. Ajay, who seemingly was offended by this comment, took to his Twitter handle to criticise the south superstar and questioned him why he dubs his films in Hindi. Sudeep later explained his stand and said that his comment was taken out of context and that he would never say anything like this.

On the professional front, Sonu will next be seen in Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Prithviraj’ which will also mark the debut of Manushi Chhillar. Besides this, he also has several south films lined up.
