Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s film ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’ has shown a good start. It earned Rs 59,920 from the Indian cinemas in the ongoing pandemic situation of Coronavirus.
The film was originally planned to release in theatres but due to the second wave of coronavirus pandemic and the resulting lockdown, the makers opted for a hybrid release.
While Radhe has been released on the pay-per-view and OTT platforms, ZeePlex, Zee5 in India and was released in theatres throughout the world.
While almost every Indian watched the film digitally on a pay-per-view basis, the film did find big-screen release in precisely three halls in the country — in the North-Eastern state of Tripura, in just 3 theatres – 2 in Agartala (SSR Rupasi and Balaka Cinema) and one in Dharmanagar (SSR Dharmanagar). Yet, the film was also expected to bring huge crowds to the theatres especially in Hyderabad, the only major city where Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai was about to release. Sadly, the state of Telangana suddenly went under a ten-day lockdown from May 12.

All these are approximate figures.”
