Lara Dutta says Soha Ali Khan ‘maintains so much of a lower key’, relates “royalty” to Saif Ali Khan

Lara Dutta, Soha Ali Khan, Kritika Kamra, and Anya Singh will be seen playing four princesses, who will be competing to be the heir apparent to their father, the King of Shikharwati, in the upcoming Zee5 web series Kaun Banegi Shikharwati (played by Naseeruddin Shah). However, three of the show’s leads, Lara, Soha, and Anya, discussed their on-set dynamics, working together experiences, and if Soha’s real-life royal position was in handy in a recent interview.

Lara, when asked if all the co-actors of the show were prompted to go to Soha for tips on how to be a royal since She belongs to a royal lineage herself, said that due to the simple demeanor that the latter carries, she kind of forgot that Soha was a royal. “She is also a mom, we are very close in age and she just comes across as someone really normal and simple. So, when we finally hung out in Mandawa (the shooting location for the show in Rajasthan), I don’t think it ever crossed my mind that Soha was royal,” she told us.

Lara further added that she always associated the concept of royalty with Soha’s older brother Saif Ali Khan. “It never crossed my mind to look at her from a royal perspective. By default, you attribute that more to Saif because Soha just maintains so much of a lower key.”
