Kolkata vs Bangalore IPL 2021 Game Rescheduled as Varun Chakravarthy and Sandeep Warrier Tests Positive For COVID-19
The IPL match which was going to held on Monday night, May 3, between the Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challenges Bangalore has been rescheduled.
Two top players from Kolkata Knight Riders – Varun Chakravarthy and Sandeep Warrier have tested positive for the novel Coronavirus. Because of this, the match between the two teams, Kolkata and Bangalore, has been rescheduled.
KKR is already struggling for the top position in the points table and now this could be come out as a big setback for the team.

Chakravarthy recently left the IPL bio-bubble after tested positive. However, except the both, rest of the players of KKR tested negative.
This is the first time when players are testing positive for COVID-19 within the IPL bio-bubble since the 2021 season started.
But neither the franchise nor the IPL has issued any statement regarding this yet.
KKR have won two matches until now in total of seven matches and currently hold the seventh position on the points table.
