Kangana’s reaction after getting her Twitter account permanently suspended
Actress Kangana Ranaut Twitter account has been ‘permanently suspended’ for violating the Twitter policy on “hateful conduct and abusive behavior.”
The 34-year-old actor said that it is proof of Twitter’s entitlement. She also told to news agency ANI that “I have many platforms I can use to raise my voice, including my own art in the form of cinema.”
She said, “Twitter has only proved my point they are Americans and by birth, a white person feels entitled to enslave a brown person, they want to tell you what to think, speak or do. Fortunately, I have many platforms I can use to raise my voice including my own art in the form of cinema but my heart goes out to the people of this nation who have been tortured, enslaved, and censored for thousands of years and still there is no end to the suffering.”
Kangana’s Twitter account got ‘permanently suspended’ after her tweet on West Bengal post-election results.
Earlier, in January 2021, her Twitter account got restricted after her tweet against the Amazon Prime Video series ‘Tandav’ for hurting religious sentiments.
