‘I tell them stay in my heart, don’t stand on my head’ – Neetu Kapoor to her children Ranbir and Riddhima

Bollywood actress Neetu Kapoor has opened up about how she’s living after the demise of her husband Rishi Kapoor last year.

She prizes her privacy and choses to stay on at her residence.

In a latest interview, the actress said that she wants her children, son Ranbir Kapoor and daughter Riddhima, to make their life settled by themselves.

“I tell them stay in my heart, don’t stand on my head,” she said.

Neetu always try to not become  burden over her children. Even when her daughter Riddhima wanted to stay with her after Rishi Kapoor’s death, Neetu told her to go back to her home and be with her husband Bharat Sahni.

In Interview with Filmfare, Neetu said, “I want them to be busy with their lives. I say mere dil mein raho, mere sar pe mat chadho (stay in my heart, don’t stand on my head). When Riddhima was with me for the pandemic, I was so stressed for one year because she couldn’t go back. I used to get so restless. I used to tell her Riddhima to go back, Bharat is alone. I was literally pushing her away. I like my privacy. I am used to this way of life.”

She told that her children supported her and helped her to heal after Rishi’s demise.

Neetu will be soon making a comeback to the movies with Jug Jugg Jeeyo.
